I've been hesitant to post about the new puppy in our household, as I just didn't know if he was going to become a permanent addition. It's now looking like he will be staying with
us. Long story short, I found this little guy under a car while taking Takara for a walk last week. He was so excited to see me, gave me tons of kisses and had absolutely no fear of Takara. I've been looking for his owners but have had no luck at all. I think he was just dumped in the neighborhood. I don't know why, because he's the sweetest little thing, and for a Chihuahua, he's pretty smart. In the week that we've had him, he's learned how to walk on a leash, he's learned he needs to sit before he gets let out of his crate, he sits for his food (although the wait part is a little hard for h
im at this point, but he's learning), and he's learning to retrieve toys and bring them back, and learning how to play tug (with the cutest little growls!!). Perhaps someday he'll be doing agility like the big dogs!
